UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
- A burgundy jumper, sweatshirt or cardigan (logo optional)
- A white or burgundy polo shirt (logo optional)
- Black or grey trousers, shorts, pinafore or skirt
- Black or grey tights
- White, black or grey socks
- Plain, black, flat shoes or trainers without logos
- In summer a burgundy and white checked dress may also be worn
We expect children to appear tidy and wear their uniform smartly. Shorts, skirts and dresses should be knee length.
You are asked to label your child’s clothing and PE kits clearly (including shoes), to help prevent clothing from being lost.

PE UNIFORM
- White or their ‘House’ coloured t-shirt, (blue FLAX, green MILLERS, red TRAFALGAR, yellow KINGSTON)
- Black or grey shorts
- Trainers/daps (Plimsolls)
Children may wish to wear sweatshirts and tracksuits during winter in line with the school or house colours
It is essential children have a full range of clothing for PE and that their PE kit is named and stored in an appropriate PE bag that is kept in school at all time.
SUPPLIERS
Merriott School uniform can be purchased from two providers, either from My Clothing Limited, the UK’s largest provider of school wear or South West Schoolwear. Both provide an embroidery service to display the school name and logo if you so wish and are very efficient with their services. The links to these can be found below:-

SWIMMING
Girls are required to wear a one piece swimming costume, with or without a hat. Boys should wear swimming shorts, not beach shorts as these trap air inside and make swimming difficult. Children may wear goggles.
